Facilities

Our systems are hosted in an enterprise level Data Center, As detailed below/ this facility is state of the art and designed to operate on a global scale. A 250/000 BTU air conditioning system keeps the facilities at a constant 65 degrees and the Data Center uses a 2-stage water-based fire suppressant system, The sprinkler system remains dry until there are 2 alarms activated in a suite.
Systems maintenance and support is accomplished by a Network Operations Center (NOC) team located in Toronto/ Ontario, The NOC is a 24/7 operation maintained by highly trained system administrators and development professionals fully capable of performing most requests immediately, Any network outages or server interruptions are immediately recog- nized and overcome by back-up systems and fault tolerant systems architecture.
Data Center clients receive our Enterprise Level SLA (Service Level Agreement): immediate response to any service interruptions around the clock and in the unlikely event there is ever an interruption greater the 45 minutes that month's service will be refunded.

Power

The APC UPS is also enterprise-class and constantly cleans the hosting platform's power and provides battery backup if ever needed, The DataCenter also has a 650 KUA (1;200 Horse- power) diesel generator on the roof/ ready to keep the power running more than adequately/ if needed/ and for as long as needed, We have also provisioned a remote hookup on the outside of the building for a locomotive-scale generator on standby.

Physical Security

Security is posted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Access to the DataCenter server space requires both a special "i-button" key as well as a Bio-Med fingerprint identification. We use recorded video surveillance and can provide extended in-suite security services, including in suite motion detection and cameras (viewable accross the Internet).
Note: The best security is a controlled physical access.

Backbone providers

Primary connection to the Internet is via a fibre link to the telecommunications centre at 151 Front St. W., and is capable of nearly unlimited connection speeds to the Internet. This fibre connection is a redundant connection with multiple fibre strands connecting to no less than 3 different bandwidth providers (including Bell, 360 Networks, Peer1 and CogentCo, among others). With this configuration a connection in our Data Center provides the virtual equivalent of being in the Telco nexus of 151 Front St. RACO.

Security: Firewalls

Our firewall solutions are based on a hardened operating version of the BSD operating system, and features:
• Stateful packet inspection
• Content filtering (virus & surf protection)
• Application proxies
• IPsec based VPN
In addition this solution we also offer and support such industry standard applications as Netscreen and Cisco PIX.

Managed Services

As network and development professionals WeezyHost.com is able to compliment its facilities with the requisite management services. We are capable situation diagnosis, solution development and ongoing support and maintenance. Some of the more common services we offer include:

Load Balancing

Traffic shaping can be accomplished through our advanced switching architecture. Load balancing is available by port or application.

Backup

WeezyHost.com employs a Ziotech Magnitude Storage Area Network Server. This RAID arrayed multiply redundant data storage unit is capable of storing up to 3.2 Terabytes of data, can take data “snapshots” as frequently as desired and can restore to previous data in total or by individual files almost instantly.

Monitoring Systems

In addition to our own, internal, monitoring programs we also provide online monitoring  and Web stats available to anyone with Internet access the username and password.

Reporting Options / Web Stats

The web stats mentioned above are available in real time on an automated basis. Assuming the Datastay applications are standard, full Web Trends analysis will be available, including:
• Site traffic
• Most requested pages
• Average length of stay
• Peek time
• Etc
