What tools should I use to design and build my homepage?
You can use a text editor if you are capable in HTML programming to create your page. Another option is to use a commercial web page composer such as FrontPage 2000, Netscape Composer or Dreamweaver. Our hosting services are compatible with most webpage composers

Does your packages support Macromedia Flash, Shockwave and Javascript?
Yes. Macromedia Flash, Shockwave and Javascript can all be used with any of our hosting packages as they are client side supported. This means that the web site visitor’s browser enables the mechanism that is required to run the particular technology.

Does your server support frames?
Yes. Frames can be used with our hosting services. The server does not determine support for frames but rather by the browser the site visitor is using. Professional web designers due to compatibility problems with different browsers are using frames less frequently.

Can I use Macromedia Dreamweaver to design my website?
Yes. Our hosting packages are fully compatible with Macromedia Dreamweaver software

Can I use FrontPage to design my website?
Yes. Packages such as DH Starter Plus and above will support FrontPage extensions. The hosting packages are fully compatible with Microsoft FrontPage 98, 2000 and 2002

Which program should I use to upload my files?
You can use FTP applications such as WS_FTP or CuteFTP, or you can use FrontPage or Dreamweaver to upload your files. If you are a Starter user, you can only use a regular FTP applications to upload your site. If you are using any other package, you can publish with FrontPage using http format: http://www.yourdomain.com.

What are my responsibilities regarding FTP?
FTP data storage space is limited according to the service plan which you are subscribed to. If total amount of used web space exceeds the limit of your package plan, you will be responsible to reduce the size of the site, purchase more space or upgrade to the next account type.

Once your allotted disk space is exceeded certain features may be disabled, such as, your FTP services, email services, scripts, and etc. It is your responsibility to monitor all FTP activity for your account.
